Article 4 of the EU AI Act requires AI literacy among your staff
Article 4 of the EU AI Act requires organisations that provide or use AI systems to ensure a sufficient level of AI literacy among the staff who work with those systems. The requirement has applied since 2 February 2025. AI literacy must be adapted to the staff, the AI systems, and the specific use.

Questions we often get about the package

Who is the package for?
All staff who use, or are about to start using, Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat or Microsoft 365 Copilot. With the adaptation part, the course can also be targeted at managers, specialists, or AI ambassadors alongside the shared course.

What is the difference between the standard package and adaptation?
The standard package is the first two parts: The shared AI foundation and the tool track. Adaptation is the third part, where your own AI guidelines, approved tools, and examples are written into the course.

Can we document that staff have completed the course?
Yes. The package is delivered ready for your own LMS, so completion is recorded there like the rest of your internal training.

Does the package make us compliant with the AI Act?
Not on its own. The package is developed to support compliance with article 4 on AI literacy. Actual compliance is the organisation's responsibility and depends on your AI systems, how you use them, your staff, and your other organisational measures.

Is the package available in both Danish and English?
Yes. Like the rest of our e-learning for your own LMS, the package is delivered in Danish or English.
